For Theodora.
This was the last cake i did in 2023, right before leaving on holiday (this was actually delivered the morning we travelled😅)
One of my favourite flavours , and although I do not know much about Harry Potter, this cake was very exciting to make. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, i usually like clean lines but in order to get this book to look old and used, i had to leave and make dents and creases in the fondant book cover. Quite proud of myself for managing to make the snitch and wand. Not a bad cake to end the (working part of my) year with !

The guys at Desgraça were kind enough to let me be part of their amazing event to raise funds for the people of Palestine that are being put through unimaginable hell.

If anyone here is organising or knows of anyone that is organising an event where i can donate cupcakes/cakes or cookies for Palestine and other countries under attack, please let me know.

This cake was really fun to make and got me a bit emotional. I have always been a huge Linkin Park fan , since i was about 15/16 years old (i am 36 now). I would listen to their music when i was down , when i was going through a lot and always seemed to feel like i could relate to most of what they sang. Adding the image of Chester on top of the cake got me teary eyed and i felt thankful for all the times, for about 20years, their music got me through whatever it was i was going through.
