Valentines day💘 Love is inside the air... and in our vocabulary 💘
Przyjrzyjmy się dzisiaj miłosnym idiomom:
1️. To have a crush on someone
To znaczy: zadurzyć się w kimś, czuć do kogoś miętę, "bujać się" w kimś.
Example: I think Tom has a huge crush on Mary!
2️. To be head over heels
To znaczy: być zakochanym po uszy / na zabój (dosłownie: głową w dół!).
Example: They met last week and he’s already head over heels for her.
3️. A match made in heaven
To znaczy: para dobrana idealnie (jak w niebie).
Example: Pizza and Netflix are a match made in heaven!
4️. To pop the question
To znaczy: oświadczyć się (zadać TO pytanie).
Example: Do you think he will pop the question on Valentine's Day? 💍
