I agree with Sunita Marshall that women are often treated as inferior, considered less intelligent, mocked and in many situations, made to compromise their self respect and dignity.

Through my videos, I often try to give women one simple message: Never compromise on your self-respect and dignity. Know your worth, set your boundaries and define your red lines. Know what you can tolerate and where you must stand up for yourself.
My message to men is: Respect your wives, value them and respect women both inside and outside your homes.

A healthy and respectful society can only be built when women’s dignity, opinions, boundaries and rights are respected.

میں ویمن پروٹیکشن سینٹر راولپنڈی اپنی گھریلو ناچاقی اور معاملات کو لے کر آئی۔ میں نے ادارے میں اپنی درخواست جمع کروائی۔ ادارے کے لوگوں نے مجھ سے مشاورت کی، میرے شوہر کو بلایا اور ان سے بات چیت کی۔ اس کے بعد ہماری کونسلنگ کروائی گئی۔
اس کے بعد میرے تمام معاملات احسن طریقے سے حل ہو گئے۔ میں اس ادارے سے بہت مطمئن ہوں۔ ادارے میں جتنے بھی لوگ ہیں، ان کا رویہ اور ان کا تعاون میرے لیے قابلِ احترام تھا، اور انہوں نے میری بہت حوصلہ افزائی کی۔

اجلاس کی صدارت ڈسٹرکٹ وومن پروٹیکشن آفیسر ثریا رانا نے کی۔ اس موقع پر خواتین کے تحفظ، انہیں درپیش مسائل کے بروقت حل، شکایات پر فوری کارروائی اور پنجاب وومن پروٹیکشن اتھارٹی کی جانب سے فراہم کردہ سہولیات کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی۔
ڈسٹرکٹ وومن پروٹیکشن آفیسر ثریا رانا نے کہا کہ خواتین کے تحفظ اور ان کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے متعلقہ اداروں کے درمیان مؤثر رابطہ انتہائی ضروری ہے۔ خواتین کسی بھی مشکل یا شکایت کی صورت میں وومن پروٹیکشن ہیلپ لائن سے رابطہ کر سکتی ہیں، ان کی شکایات کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کرنے کے لیے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
