As a child I always had a passion for cooking, eagerly helping mum in the kitchen. I would enjoy practicing to make the perfect 'Africa' shape rotis; but my true joy would be watching my beloved Hyderi Khala bake the most delicious, out of the world goodies with the blink of an eye.The smell, the taste, the irreplaceable memories still live with me. It is an actual science which involves calculati
on, fine judgment, perfect precision and mind boggling jargon accompanied with immense patience, and volumes of love. To get all this right in one go is a helluva challenge but, once you do, there's no looking back! You need to have passion for anything you wish to do in life to achieve success. To excel in any science you need commitment and an inner desire to experiment, for, without that, one cannot prove their theories. So what does baking have to do with the Big Bang? And why would i choose this term for my venture? Well! For starters, they are both sciences. An honest truth; I am an utterly mad fan of the sitcom, “The Big Bang Theory” and that was my inspiration. It was one of those crazy mornings where I was rushing for work and out of the blue, I thought, “Why not call it Big Bang?!”, perfect 2 words that could not explain it better. A lot like me; just going about my daily routine and one fine day deciding to do what I love… so it all started with the Big Bang! Our menu comprises of delicious and tempting desserts and bakies made with superior quality ingredients and prepared with heart and soul. They are fit for any occasion be it birthdays, hi-teas or dinners with loved ones or simply just to enjoy over a mug of coffee during your “me-time”. God bless and happy eating!
