I recently baked the same pizza in both an electric oven and a gas oven at exactly the same time, and the difference surprised me!
Electric Oven: The pizza was perfectly cooked in just 30 minutes. It cooked evenly and gave a beautiful golden crust. However, keep an eye on it because electric ovens can brown or burn food quickly if left unattended.
Gas Oven: After the same 30 minutes, the pizza was still only half cooked. It needed more baking time to achieve the same result.
My takeaway: If you’re switching from a gas oven to an electric oven, don’t rely on the same baking time. Electric ovens often cook faster and more evenly, while gas ovens may need extra time depending on the model.
Every oven is different, so always check your food a little before the recipe’s suggested time. Happy baking! ❤️🍕
