One of the many things that really stood out for me during this workshop was how it was a full mind and body experience. Using your hands and feet, knowing the right amounts by just feeling it out, working with the different textures of the materials, plus the flow/concentration you get into while doing the work, and best of all, being able to do this whole dance alongside your community.
It also sparked a lot of discussion amongst ourselves about the current reality we live in. the consumerism, the "standards", the waste, the questionable materials, the inhumane practices. and it begs the question, is this really the direction we want to take for the next generation?
This is an entire conversation i'd love to delve into another time but for now, let me bask in the knowledge that was shared, the friendships formed, the doors and ideas it opened up, and the small step forward for a gentler way of life.
Thank you for saying yes to doing this workshop .permakultura ๐ค what a beautiful gift to have crossed paths with you and we hope to be collaborating and joining you in your other projects soon, expanding the network, and learn more skills ๐
And to all the participants who joined us, i'd like to believe that we are all planting seeds for something much bigger than ourselves. Thank you for your energy, willingness, and heart. May our paths cross again next time! ๐
