As chocoholics, we definitely started with the classic moist, dark, rich Chocolate Cake, which we dubbed as “Midnight”. The cake was named as such, because the chocolate was as dark as midnight, but, you’re going to crave for it ‘til the midnight hours and hope that there’ll be some left in the morning. After several requests, we then had a classic menu of desserts to choose from, Carrot cake, Ba
nana cake, Apple Pie, Cheesecake, Choco Mousse, the Brummies and the Crummies, and our latest offering, which is the classic Filipino dessert “Leche Flan”. We also tried baking bread with a combination of different herbs. We also customize special occasion cakes according to the celebrant’s wishes. Using the sculpting icing, fondant, my husband Hubert enjoys forming different shapes, some from the commercial arena, and most are from his artistic and imaginative mind. Hence, I bake the cake and he designs the look. We do make a great team as we both enjoy our work.
