Iโm honestly teary-eyed after hearing the ownerโs announcement that ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ will be closing its doors on December 27, 2025. After 36 years of serving bakers and creators, itโs hard to imagine the community without them.
This castle-like shop in Cubao wasnโt just a store to meโit was one of my happy places. Iโve been a customer since 2009, back when I was just starting my cake-making journey, Chocolate Lover has been my go-to shop for everything I needed. From the smallest cakes to the biggest, most extravagant wedding and event cakes Iโve made, their store has always been part of the process. I still remember how kind the owner wasโalways ready to give advice, always willing to share knowledge with someone like me who was just a newbie then.
Their shop has been part of my growth, my passion, and my cake-making story for so many years.
Whatever their reasons for closing, I hope it leads them to something good and fulfilling. I also hope people will continue to visit and support them until their very last day.
Thank you ma'am Annie, Chocolate Lover Inc.. , for service, and inspiration. You will always be remembered. ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅน (now I can't help but ๐ญ)
