I am a home-based baker, and baking started as a hobby for our family. Mommy was the original baker, the person behind the recipes, the passion, and the love that eventually inspired me to continue what she started. When she passed away in 2011, I carried on baking, not knowing then that it would eventually become something much bigger.
Today, Eleanor's Bakeshop is a small bakeshop in our garage. I also have a home-based day job as a Communications Specialist. But eventually, I want to just focus on the bakery. What began as a passion project has slowly grown into a business with a loyal community of customers who support what we do and believe in the products we create.
We have recently taken a big step forward and signed a lease for a new space, still within our neighborhood, but in a bigger and more strategic location. For a small business like ours, this is both exciting and scary. Expanding means taking a risk, investing more, and believing that all the hard work will pay off. But I believe we can make it.
I believe in our products. I believe in the quality of what we make. Most importantly, I believe in what Eleanor's Bakeshop represents.
Baking has always been more than just a business for me. It is my passion and, in many ways, my connection to mommy. Every product we make carries the values she taught me, making food with care, using quality ingredients, and sharing something made with love.
My dream is simple: I want Eleanor's Bakeshop to become a beloved local bakery in Taguig. I want people to think of us when they are in the area, not just as another bakery, but as a place known for good, honest, freshly made products and the passion behind them.
We are still small, and we still have a long way to go. But we are growing, learning, and taking one step at a time.
I have always believed that when you are passionate about what you do and genuinely believe in your product, people will eventually see that too.
This expansion is our next chapter, and I am excited to see where this journey takes us.
