🔥 New Oven, New Chapter! 👩‍🍳😂

Today was supposed to be “unboxing lang.” Pero syempre, hindi ako mapakali. 🤣

After unboxing my new Astron electric oven, I had to do a little preheat test—wala munang cookies, wala munang bread… testing muna bago tayo magpakasaya. 😂

Good news: umiinit! 🔥
So far, everything looks like it's working, and I also tested it with my new oven thermometer to see how close the actual temperature is to the oven setting.

Hindi pa ito baking day…
equipment testing pa lang. 😅
Pero habang tinitingnan ko yung oven, hindi ko maiwasang isipin:

“So… ano kaya ang unang ibabake natin dito?” 🤣

Meanwhile, nasa waiting game pa rin tayo sa dough mixer. 🥺📦 Mukhang may sariling schedule si kuya mixer. 😂

For now, one step at a time.
New oven. New tools. New experiments. New lessons.

And hopefully, more crumbs and more stories to come. 🤎

🍪 From Leftover Cookies to Little Blessings 🤎

Grabe, tuwang-tuwa ang puso ko tonight. 🥹

A few days ago, may cookies akong natira dahil suspended ang classes dahil sa heavy rain. 🌧️ Kaya hindi natuloy ang original schedule ng pagbebenta.

Sinubukan ko rin silang ibenta online, kahit may discount, pero may ilan pa rin na hindi naubos.

At first, syempre medyo nakakalungkot. Iniisip ko kung ano ang gagawin ko sa mga natira.

Then I thought… why not share them instead? 🤎

Kaya napagdesisyunan kong ibigay ang remaining cookies sa church namin para sa mga bata sa Sunday School.

Then tonight, habang nagpapakaantok na ako 😅, biglang nag-send ng video at pictures ang Sunday School Head namin.

And there they were… the kids happily receiving and thanking us for the cookies. 🥹🍪❤️

Doon ko na-realize…

What started as “cookies na hindi nabenta” turned into little blessings and happy smiles.

Minsan, may mga bagay na hindi nangyayari according to our plan because God has a better destination for them. 🙏

From unsold cookies… to little smiles.
From disappointment… to a blessing. 🤎

Tonight, my heart is full. 🥹
Thank You, Lord, for turning something I thought was a loss into something that brought joy to these children. 🙏❤️

🍫 Akala ko sayang lang ang nabili ko sa WOFEX… pero TODAY, I WAS SURPRISED! 😂🤎

Isa sa mga konting nabili ko nung nag-WOFEX ako was this Cocoa from Innobake Philippines

Honestly, nung una iniisip ko, “Saan ko kaya ’to gagamitin? Baka sayang lang.” 😅

Pero today, nagluto ako ng champorado and naisipan kong gamitin siya instead of my usual cocoa.

AND OMG… 😳🍫

GRABE. ANG SARAP!

Ramdam na ramdam mo talaga yung rich chocolate flavor. 🤎 Hindi lang siya basta nagbibigay ng rich na kulay—yung lasa ng chocolate, talagang nandun!

At dahil doon, from “Baka sayang lang ’to…” naging…

“Okay, mukhang kailangan ko pa pala bumili nito!” 😂🤣

One of those little discoveries na hindi mo ine-expect pero mapapa-WOW ka talaga.

Expectation: "Titingin lang ako, promise." 😌
Reality: Umuwi na may bagong baking tools, ingredients... at medyo masakit na paa. 😂🛍️

First time ko sa WOFEX, and as a new home baker, super memorable talaga ang experience na 'to. Hindi lang kami naglibot sa World Trade Center—tinahi talaga namin ang dalawang venue hanggang SMX Convention Center. Sulit ang lakad, sulit ang pagod, at sulit ang bawat step! 🤣👣

The best part? Yung mga chefs na dati pinapanood ko lang sa YouTube at Facebook, nakita ko na in person habang nagde-demo. Total fangirl moment! 🤭✨ Bonus pa na natikman ko ang breads nina Chef Tine Lutong tinapay at Chef Jordan Andino . Inspiration overload!
