It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for everyone who has supported this little page over the years. What started with freshly baked cookies and homemade muffins became something much bigger because of all of you.
Every order, every message, every recommendation, and every kind word reminded me that the simplest things, when made with love, can bring people together.
Today, I'd like to share that this page is beginning a new chapter.
One of the greatest inspirations behind this journey is my daughter, **Lia**. Watching her fall in love with matcha and seeing the joy it brings her inspired me to explore the beautiful world of authentic Japanese tea. What began as simple curiosity turned into countless hours of learning about cultivars, traditional preparation, and the quiet ritual of hand-whisking matcha.
And that's how **LIA Slow Matcha Bar** was born.
LIA is more than a matcha bar. It's a reminder to slow down, be present, and appreciate the little moments—one carefully whisked cup at a time.
For now, we'll be whisking every weekend, offering authentic Japanese single-cultivar Yabukita matcha, hand-whisked to order.
And don't worry, our cookies and muffins aren't saying goodbye. They'll still be available in limited batches by pre-order or upon request, because some traditions are simply too special to let go.
To everyone who has been with us from the beginning, thank you for believing in this little dream and allowing it to grow into something new. Your support has made every step of this journey possible.
