Bringing cozy cold-weather flavors to the tropics:
After indulging in snickerdoodle cookies from a local shop, I was inspired to turn it into cake form—moist vanilla with a cinnamon twist, layered with brown sugar cinnamon buttercream 🤎

Tried my hand at salted caramel sauce too! (Let’s just say the first batch…didn’t make the cut 🥲) But round two was spot on and made the perfect finishing touch!

Definitely one of my new faves—just hoping I don’t end up with the skin of a killer if I eat too much 🙂‍↔️

Hello 2024! Cheers to a year sweetened with joy and tangy bliss! My New Year’s treat: lemon cheesecake adorned with the allure of strawberry compote. A delightful treat to savor the moments of a fresh start! 🥂

Originally planned a classic (and personal favorite) lemon-blueberry combo, but the latter wasn’t available. One exciting part of baking is you wouldn’t know if it’s a treat until it touches your taste buds. Was doubtful of lemon-strawberry at first but oh, they go so well together! 🍋🍓

So, I’ve been flirting with the idea of baking a carrot cake for almost a year. Decided to take the plunge and whip one up for Christmas. No winter here in the PH, but the aromatic blend of spices imparts a cozy, holiday warmth. Nutmeg’s intoxicating aroma? Obsessed! The cake, impeccably moist, gains texture from chopped pecans, and the cream cheese frosting strikes a harmonious balance with its perfect sweetness! 🥕
