Humble Beginnings
Love, Quinch was founded and established in June 2020 by Quincherville Villanueva, a pastry chef and artist. Quinch, as called by her friends, is a graduate of AB Multimedia Arts from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, has been wanting to learn how to bake since she was young but never had the opportunity to learn. Upon graduating her degree, Quinch felt that her passion was not working in front of a computer for 8hrs or so. She decided to move abroad and lived with her dad for a few months. In this period, she learned how to cook and bake from reading recipes and watching youtube. Upon moving back to the Philippines, she decided to venture out into sales since she enjoyed talking and having face to face interactions with customers. However, Quinch was still eager to learn how to bake, and decided to enroll in a Baking and Pastry course with Magsaysay Center of Hospitality and Culinary Arts. Upon successfully finishing the course, she applied for an internship in the United States and was able to join Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. She excelled well in the Pastry Department and was managing a section on her own in just a few months. Upon coming back to the Philippines, before her graduation ceremony with MIHCA, she was able to land the Head Pastry Chef Job at Aperitif Z Global Gourmet Food Corp. She resigned to seek career growth and improvement of skills and later on joined the Salvatore Cuomo Cafe at the Podium. With the skills she has gained from her previous experiences, Quinch has been urged repeatedly by her friends and family to open up her own pastry shop.
In May 2020, Quinch decided it was time to quit Salvatore Cuomo Cafe and focus on her venture. The cafe was a stable job but she wasn’t able to express individuality, creativity and often felt caged. With the help of her parents and siblings, Quinch opened a delivery at your doorstep pastry service that features cupcakes and several other goods. Love, Quinch’s best selling items include her original recipe, the Dairy-free Strawberries and Cream Signature Cake and Cupcake boxes. Other popular items include the assorted macaron boxes, the Signature Giftsets, and the newest addition to the menu the Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.
Love, Quinch has been a go-to staple for gifting and surprises. The Pink and Floral aesthetic has become a trademark and signature of popular Love, Quinch items. Love, Quinch seeks to venture out into home parties and party delivery services soon!
