Simple. A generous amount of fruits and nuts, and a rich, moist cake that brings all those flavors together... creating a delightful pause to just... be happy. ☺️

And honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of baking — seeing how all those ingredients come together to make something you’d be glad to put on your table.

The texture is what got me.

That crisp, golden outside. The soft, buttery center. Just enough salt to make you take another bite… and then another. 😅

It’s simple, but sometimes those are the breads you end up craving the most.

You’ve been asking me about Fruit Cake for quite some time now… so I finally baked one.

I used to bake it quite a lot back then. But when we launched Tita Vic’s, for some reason, it never made it to the menu. Maybe because my kids aren’t really fans of Fruit Cake—they say it’s an acquired taste, mostly for people my age. 😅

But when I realized a lot of you have been asking about it, I had to make the call, look for my recipe from ages ago, and finally put it on the menu.

So yes, my Fruit Cake is finally here.

Maybe just in time for those looking for something to give this holiday season.
Or for those who crave it every now and then.
Or perhaps for those who grew up with Fruit Cake and have been waiting for that familiar taste to come back. ☺️
