Modern Shang Introduces Peking Style Chicken

An all-new juicy and crispy sensation is on the menu at Modern Shang, perfect for sharing with groups and best enjoyed fresh in-store.

The Peking Style Roast Chicken debuts across all Modern Shang branches on April 15, and features a whole or half chicken that is carefully prepared and roasted Peking Style to achieve perfect crispy, golden skin and juicy meat that is bursting with flavor. The chicken is served with house recipe sauce on the side that complements the unique blend of spices and seasonings of the dish.

For whole chicken orders, the dish is priced at P1,198 and is good for up to 6 to 8 guests. Half Peking Style Roast Chicken is offered for P648 for 3 to 4 pax.

The menu was developed by Executive Chef Pablo Ramirez, together with R&D Chef Ana Aguilar and Brand Ambassador Marta Baños.

This summer, families can look forward to a fun, hands-on experience as Randy’s opens its doors to its first ever Little Randy’s Summer Workshop at Randy’s Uptown Parade.
Designed for children aged 5 to 12, the workshop offers an exciting opportunity to step behind the counter and discover the joy of creating, serving, and learning—all in a safe and engaging environment.
Running every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN starting April 7 until May 26, the program combines creativity, skill-building, and play in one memorable summer activity.
The Little Randy’s Summer Workshop is an immersive experience where kids can explore different roles inside a store setting. Participants will get to:
• Master the art of soft-serve in the Swirl-a-Thon
• Mix and create their own drinks in Junior Barista 101
• Unleash their creativity by designing their own Randy’s donuts
• Learn basic customer service skills through the Front of House Serving Challenge
Each activity is thoughtfully designed to help kids build confidence, develop social skills, and express their creativity—all while having fun.
Each participant will receive a complete workshop package, including a branded apron and baker cap, a Randy’s starter kit, Donut Tumbler, Randy’s stickers, and a certificate of completion. Kids will also enjoy their own creations and take home special keepsakes from the workshop.
With a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 participants per session, the workshop ensures a personalized and interactive experience for every child.

This February, Las Flores invites couples and loved ones to experience Love in Bloom, a specially curated four-course Spanish dining journey created for meaningful moments. It is available at all Las Flores branches starting February 6 at PHP 2,395 per person.
Created by Executive Sous Chef Pablo Ramirez, each dish reflects a balance of tradition and modernity. Familiar Spanish flavors are reimagined with a lighter, contemporary touch, showcasing how Las Flores honors its heritage while continuing to evolve.
The four-course dining experience celebrates love in all its forms, from blossoming romances to enduring relationships and deep family ties. Each course takes guests on a culinary journey across Spain.
The experience begins with Salpicon de Mariscos, a classic cold seafood tapas featuring lightly cooked mixed seafood tossed with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and a bright lemon vinaigrette that highlights freshness.
Another appetizer, Croqueta de Manchego, is delicately prepared with the precision of a dessert yet enjoyed as a savory indulgence. Crisp and rich, it is paired with local spinach and aioli for balance.
For the entrée, Iberico Secreto takes center stage. This highly marbled cut of Iberico pork shoulder is pan-seared in butter, delivering deep umami flavors and a long savory finish. It is complemented by roasted cauliflower purée and chimichurri sauce to brighten the richness of the dish.
To end the meal, Love in Bloom presents a familiar reimagination of Crema Catalana. Gently burnt local orange and lemon add a zesty tartness, offering a refreshing close to the decadent meal.

Rumba introduces a new four-course menu for February

Experience “Love in Four Courses” this February at Rumba. Located in Ayala Triangle Gardens, Rumba is the perfect destination for an intimate meal best shared with the ones you love.
The fine selection highlights a mix of Spanish and Mediterranean flavors, a nod to freshness, balance, and simplicity. Pablo Ramirez, the new executive sous chef of The Bistro Group’s Spanish concepts, describes the menu where each dish moves between tradition and playfulness, starting light and vibrant, deepening into richness and warmth and finishing with comfort and elegance.
Each dish is built around one key idea. For starters, the Piquillo Pepper filled with whipped Bacalao Brandade opens gently with savory creaminess. The second appetizer is the cornbread Montaditos of Gambas with just the right hint of acidity, spice, and freshness. It is about freshness and contrast, combining sweetness, acidity, and heat in one bite.
Following these starters, the Secreto Iberico entrée is a marbled prized cut of Iberico pork shoulder. It offers rich umami, gentle nuttiness, and a silky texture as the fat melts on the palate. It is served with a camote and carrot puree, atchara and toffee.
Finally, the timeless Chocolate Tart with ganache and berry compote brings structure and comfort, layering richness with lightness to finish the menu with elegance.
These dishes represent Rumba through their energy and rhythm. They are bold yet relaxed, rooted in Mediterranean flavors but meant to be shared, enjoyed, and experienced together. Like Rumba itself, the food is expressive, vibrant, and driven by movement—full of warmth, color, and soul.
The Love in Four Courses offering pairs well with Rumba’s signature cocktails like the Rumba Spritzer or Atlantico Gin & Tonic, a perfect treat for the palate.
Guests are welcome to choose the four-course set menu or order à la carte.
Priced at P2,195 per head, Love in Four Courses is available starting February 5. Given the season’s popularity, guests are encouraged to reserve their table early to secure a table.
