Two years ago, I introduced a small dream called The Vintage Dough.
What began as a childhood dream to quiet nights of baking cookies, brownies, and occasionally cakes unexpectedly turned into reality. In just a short time, I found myself serving countless boxes across Manila and for the first time, a dream no longer felt distant.
But life presented me with an opportunity I could not ignore.
A corporate path opened its doors, and at the time, I believed I had to choose between ambition and passion. So I paused baking. I paused Miss Victoria. I paused The Vintage Dough for two years.. And yet, some passions never truly leave us. They simply wait for the right time to be lived again.
A week ago, what started as a simple craving of my sisters brought us back into the kitchen. We baked again..quietly, casually, without expectations. But somehow, within days, orders began pouring in once more. Boxes were dispatched. Familiar excitement returned. And in the middle of it all, I realized: THIS IS OUR COMEBACK!
with the quiet Fiancé as my sous-baker for a job he never applied for, and the unmatched support of my family...
Today, I return not only as a baker, but as someone who finally understands that dreams do not always require sacrifice. Sometimes, they simply require growth, timing, and the courage to begin again.
While I continue my corporate career, I now carry a clearer vision of how to build both the life I prayed for and the brand I have always loved.
And with that, we are also excited to share that fortunately and unfortunately The Vintage Dough that proudly created in Manila will soon be relocating to a new city, and a new home. An announcement will be made very soon.
Because of this transition, we only have one final week to serve our beloved Vintage people here in Manila before this new chapter begins.
To everyone who supported us in 2024, waited patiently during our silence, and welcomed us back with overwhelming warmth this past week, thank you!
Thank you for reminding Miss Victoria that passion is always worth revisiting. And perhaps some dreams are never meant to end. Only to rise again, beautifully aged..like The Vintage Dough.
