Gabelle attended her first cooking lesson at the age of ten, baked her first batch of crinkles at the age of 11 and graduated with honors in DLS-CSB majoring in Culinary Arts. She has then trained and worked in the professional kitchens of Sofitel Philippine Plaza and 145 Fahrenheit (a fine dining restaurant). She continues to study and takes lessons with certificates from Heny Sison Culinary School.
