Why does cake delivery cost extra? 🎂🛵

We often get asked why delivery fees can be quite expensive. 💗 It’s not only about the distance—it also covers the rider’s fuel, time, vehicle expenses, traffic, weather, and the careful handling needed to transport cakes safely.

As a small home-based cake business, we also want to keep our cake prices affordable, so delivery fees are charged separately. 🥰

📌 Feel free to book your own rider if you prefer! However, please make sure to choose a rider who can properly handle cakes. Once the cake has been handed over to your chosen rider, any damages that may occur during delivery will not be shouldered by Baked by Ash.
