This is a special order of a friend, a strawberry shortcake. They say it was really delicious -- a sweet, delightful marriage of fresh dairy cream and strawberry and it tastes more like a really good ice cream (think of Carmen's Best 😉) with a really soft sponge cake rather than a traditional cake you could easily buy around.
The shop started with my group of friends who believed in me and have the confidence that I would do well in this field. And a year has passed -- so many have changed in my personal life and yet this is still up. Yes I am not a full time baker and I only squeeze my baking schedule with my full time job, which is really nice as it is interesting to know two great industries at the same time. Recently, my focus has to do with striving excellency in every cake and goodies I make, still using the best ingredients around, and every now and then I attend workshops to improve my craft.
Thank you everyone for patronizing this quaint business and you are the reason why I need to improve every day -- because you deserve the best. I make sure the cake you order deserves all the money you could pay. Looking forward to a better 2018 and I hope you'd face the new year with a sweet smile on your face with a hopeful mindset in life. -Kat Culture
