A customer friend asked me how much it cost to make a customized cake.
π π²: For a single tier depends on the size and details, 2,5000php estimate depende pa yan kung gano kadetalye ang design.
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Masyado namang mahal, tapos single tier lang?
π π²: How much do you think it would cost you?
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: 1000php maximum... Madali lang naman yon diba?! Saka mura lang mga harina at asukal tapos bake lang.π
π π²: Ok, since magkakilala naman tayo pwede namang ikaw ang gumawa. π
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Pero hindi ako marunong magbake...π
π π²: For 1000php tuturuan kita, nakasave ka pa ng 1,500php. You'll get the knowledge na kailangan mo. π
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Sige, pwede na din.π
π π²: But to get started: May mga kailangan tayong gamit:
βOven (10k-35k)
βStand mixer (7k-30k)
βHand mixer (5k-10k)
βTurn table (500-2k)
Refrigerator (15k to 30k)
βBaking tools like scraper, cake slicer, brush, measuring tools, mixing bowl, piping tip, piping bag, pans, cooler rack, wire whisk, spatula, sturdy working table, cutting matt, molder, cutters, plunger, silicon matt, tweezer (very hard to estimate)
βComsumables like ingredients...APF, white sugar, butter, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, eggs, cream, cooking oil, food colors, fondants, tylose, cornstarch, cocoa powder, chocolate bar, sprinkles, dragees, shortening (very hard to estimate)
Cake box, cake board, cake post, cello plastic, baking paper, tissue, stapler, tape, bioplastic, sticker, glue gun, glue stick, scissors, ribbon, toy toppers, acrylic toppers, candles β(very hard to estimate)
ββetc.
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Hala.π£ But I don't have all these stuff. Bibili pa ba ko niyan, isang cake lang naman gagawin ko. π
π π²: Well then for another 1000php more I'll rent my stuff to you para makagawa ka. π
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Sige Sige π
π π²: Okay! thursday 3am I'm waiting for you to start doing this work ha.
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: What 3am??? And I can't on Thursday I only have time today.π’
π π²: I'm sorry, but I'm only available on Thursday at 3am to teach you and lend you my stuff. Other days are busy with other customers na kasi. π
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Okay! That means I'm going to have to sacrifice my Thursday and give up my other tasks.π£
π π²: I forgot. To do your job yourself, you also have to pay for the non-productive factors.π
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Totoo ba? Ano naman yun?π²
π π²: Vat, Internet connection, power, gas etc.
πππππΌπΊπ²πΏ: Jusko! Ang dami ko namang babayaran at masasayang na oras bago ako makagawa!π² Sige. Yung mga gamit ok naman na?
π π²: Sure, nasa akin naman na yung ibang gamit, but for the ingredients, you'll need to buy it since sakto lang ang ingredients ko for my existing orders. And wait you'll need to find the exact brand, hindi pede un kung ano lang ang available, like sa butter and powdered sugar, may specific kaming ginagamit, pag wala kay supplier 1, hanap kay supplier 2, 3, 4 hanggang sa makita mo.
