Fining’s Cake is more than just a name, it’s a piece of my heart and a tribute to the woman who inspired it all. My mom, Josefina, was lovingly called “Fining,” a name filled with warmth, love, and memories that I will always carry with me. She celebrates her birthday on the beautiful and meaningful Feast of Saint Joseph, a day that symbolizes love, family, and quiet strength, just like her.
When I started this baking journey, I wanted something that would keep her spirit alive in everything I create. Naming my business Fining’s Cake was my way of honoring her, so that in every cake I design, every detail I carefully craft, and every celebration I become part of, her name continues to live on.
Each cake is not just made with ingredients, but with love, memories, and gratitude. It’s my way of sharing a piece of her with others—turning something sweet into something meaningful.
