After The-Rock-wannabe's escape, I personally took a brief hiatus from watching the news because it was just so depressing and outright ridiculous. It's worse than living in the Upside Down. There they have demogorgons and demodogs, here we have tsinadogs.

After careful reflection, I decided I should no longer hold back or distance my business from my political views, especially in this crucial time in Philippine politics. I have spoken up a few times in the past, yes, but those were extremely restrained. I actually noticed a minor decline in my number of followers since then, but heck, if that's the price that I pay for speaking up, then let it be. In the words of the "honorable" Pia Cayetano, takot na takot ako. But not anymore. I just can't take the level of bullcrap that our corrupt officials are trying to shove down our throats anymore.

Aaaaaaanyway, I had soooo much fun making this set. Is it time consuming? Yes. Was I paid enough for this? No. 😂 But was it worth it? Definitely yes, because Stranger Things was one of the items in my cookie wishlist for this year! 😊 And speaking of that wishlist, you may still get a discount if you choose a theme from that list! Kumusta ka, Pilipinas, kaya pa ba?

They say leave politics out of your business, but after yesterday's political circus, it feels like a sin to not take a stand and speak out. It made us realize what extremes some politicians are willing to do to evade accountability and to stay in power. It is deplorable, utterly evil, and at the same time heartbreaking.

Kung hindi ka pa rin galit hanggang ngayon, bakit?

And to all the morally and criminally corrupt government officials — isang malaking EFF YOU. Maniningil kami sa 2028. Hindi na kami muling pipikit pa. And even if we don't get justice here on earth in our lifetime, there is divine justice.

I never truly knew how much love my heart could hold until I became a mother. It was only then that I understood the depth of the love my mama has always carried for me, past, present, and forever.
