Instead we will be doing your cake in our own interpretation. But be rest assured that the cake will be of equal quality. During transport, make sure that the cake is placed on a clean level surface inside the vehicle. It is better if the cake is transported by an air-conditioned vehicle and chilled air must reach the cake. Never put the cake in the trunk of the car or in an uneven surface. SET UP & DELIVERY
We do the set-up for tower packages. Delivery charge is based according to mileage and distance of the delivery location. We will provide quotation if delivery is required. Client must provide a secure table for the cake and a secure area far from heat or any extreme vibrations. BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse is not responsible for any damage to the cake. So the client must assign someone to look after the cake to prevent it from being bumped, poked, or damaged. CANCELLATION
An order may be cancelled/re-scheduled provided that a NOTICE is given at least 2 WEEKS before the scheduled date of the event. a) Should you cancel your cake order BEFORE FULL PAYMENT has been made, the 50% deposit to hold your date is non-refundable. b) Should you cancel your cake order AFTER FULL PAYMENT has been made and production has began, you will be refunded your money, less the cost of all supplies already purchased, expenses incurred, and the deposit 50% for the date. c) If, for any reason, the event is re-scheduled and production has began, the
work completed & amount of product already made will be charged to you. BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse may or may not be available on the new scheduled date. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Discovery of new information, changes to agreed circumstances or other factors, might result in a withdrawal. Non-cooperation, changes in location, facilities or available times, missed appointments, non-confirmation of quote acceptance and late payments are examples of contributing factors. RETURNS
We do not accept returns for any reason because we are certain that our products were made according to the client’s request. In ordering customized cakes, cupcakes or cookies, please be specific with the designs, themes, colors, spellings and details of the product. FRESHNESS OF CAKE
All our baked goodies are fresh from the oven. All of the ingredients used are certainly at its best. BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse bakes goodies with full of passion, from scratch with love. SHELF LIFE
BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse products shelf life depends on the type of product you purchased. Cakes and cupcakes must be consumed within 2-3days. Cookies and Bars have longer shelf life than cakes and cupcakes. STORAGE
Never store Fondant Cakes and Cupcakes in the fridge prior to the party. It will dry out the cake and will moisten the fondant. It also makes the fondant decorations bleed. Fondant cakes should be placed before the event, as much as possible, in an air-conditioned room to keep it dry. Store the goodies in cool dry place or in the fridge after the event. Place it in an air-tight container or air-tight plastic bag. You can also keep it in the freezer to extend its shelf life. Do not keep the goodies in warm conditions as well, because it will also affect the quality of the cake. LIMIT OF LIABILITY
BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse takes the obligation to provide your cake order very seriously. However, in the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies that will make it impossible for us to fulfill our obligation, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Cake Designer. BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse will make every effort to secure a replacement Cake Designer who is able and / or willing to provide similar products and services as chosen. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event. BAKE-A-LICIOUS Cakehouse reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time.
