Some days, the café is full of conversations, clinking glasses, and orders coming in one after another.
And then there are days like this. Tahimik. Maulan. Konti ang tao. And as a small business owner, minsan hindi mo talaga mapigilan mag-worry.
“Okay pa ba?”, “Bakit ang tahimik?”, “May mali ba kaming ginagawa?”
But I’m slowly learning that not every quiet day means something is wrong.
Businesses have seasons too. May busy days, may slow days. May araw na halos hindi ka makahinga sa dami ng orders, at may araw naman na mapapaupo ka talaga at mapapaisip.
And maybe the goal isn’t to never experience slow days. Maybe it’s learning how to keep showing up through them.
So today, I clean a little better. I try to improve something. I talk to our customers. I check our numbers. I prepare for our tomorrow.
Because a slow day is just that, a slow day. It’s not the whole story of your business.
Kaya sa kapwa small business owners na tahimik din ang shop ngayon… kapit lang.
The rain will eventually stop. People will come through the doors again. And until then, we keep the lights on, the coffee warm, and we keep showing up.
See you on the sunnier days. 🌤️
