This year we're very proud of our growing team, especially the ones who’ve been with us since day one.

To our neighbors, thank you for the continued support, familiar faces, and for letting us witness your babies grow into kids, and puppies into big doggos. 🫶

Hey team!! We’re turning 3 this year and we just wrapped our KIJI Christmas Party—time flew so fast. From our first home in BGC to expanding soon to Glorietta and Mall of Asia, we’re honestly so grateful for every bit of support that brought us here. 😭🙏

Christian and I promise to keep everything the same as we grow—from our ingredients to our service, and most especially the culture we fight for. We’re not a big chain commercial brand—but we’re a hands-on team built on heart and hard work.⚡♥️

We stay hands-on because we believe in having a kitchen and bar team that feels supported, valued, and excited to come in every day!

We’ve been working on our drinks lineup for a while now — lots of tests, repeats, and sourcing. We picked the drinks we’d happily order every day, the same ones we look for when we visit cafés or travel. Really excited to finally share them with you:

ESPRESSO TONIC
60 tonic / 40 espresso with a quick citrus lift.

CORTADO
Equal parts espresso and milk, small and steady.

HOJICHA LATTE
Twice-roasted Shizuoka hojicha with milk.

COLD BREW
Single-origin Atok Benguet Arabica, steeped 18 hours. Available canned or over ice.

MATCHA LATTE
Using first-flush Yabukita matcha from Shizuoka, now back and better than ever.

We’re also switching to our new beans, KIJI First Light, for the next couple of months — a blend of Catuai Arabica from Capricornio Brazil and Heirloom Arabica from Alo Sidama Ethiopia. Natural process, medium roast, with notes of dark cherry, dark chocolate, and toasted walnut. Our Americanos, Flat Whites, and more have a clearer, rounder flavor now.

This and a lot more new drinks when you visit! Now available in-store and on Grab ☕️🍵

In our past lives, we were both designers. Maybe that’s why we still find comfort in making things by hand — whether it’s dough, coffee, or this little door sign.

There’s something about work like this that reminds us why we enjoy it: the imperfect details, the tape that never quite lines up right, the feeling that something becomes real because we spent time on it.

KIJI has always been our way of creating, not just food or coffee, but small things too.
