Engineer Tools-Themed Fondant Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
For Buttercream Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Decoration:
Fondant in metallic silver, grey, yellow, and blue

Edible metallic dust for a realistic effect

Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour cake pans.
2. Prepare the Cake Batter:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Mix until smooth.
3. Bake the Cake: Divide batter into cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
4. Make the Buttercream Frosting:
