Two-tier naked cake decorated with handmade sugar peony, eucalyptus, and gardenia ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

This one was extra challenging. It was delivered right in the middle of Typhoon UWAN, and the whole day was honestly stressful โ€” worrying if the cake would make it to the venue, checking the weather every hour, and hoping the roads stayed clear.

But our client was so kind and understanding the whole time, which really helped ease the anxiety. And despite the storm, the cake arrived safe and intact. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’›

Surprise cake alert! ๐ŸŽ‰

We're not typically known for our K-pop themed cakes or any other themed cakes (wedding and floral cakes are our usual jam ๐Ÿฅ€), but we took on the challenge for our beloved EXO fan's special day! ๐Ÿ˜

The hexagon cake with sharp edges was a design nightmare, but seeing our client's face light up was all the motivation we needed ๐Ÿ’ซ. And the best part? The edible Kai dolls on top ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ‘€!

We learned a lot from this cake, and it was TOTALLY worth it. Happy birthday to our EXO-L friend May!

๐ŸŒธ Gumpaste Lilacs... finally! ๐ŸŒธ

Tried my hand at making lilac flowers out of gumpaste, and whewโ€”who knew tiny petals could be this time-consuming? ๐Ÿ˜… Each little floret had to be shaped, textured, and carefully attached one by one. It definitely took a little practice (okay, maybe a lot ๐Ÿ™ˆ), and I can honestly say there's still plenty of room for improvement!

But the best part? I learned new techniques along the way and had fun experimenting. It may not be perfect yet, but Iโ€™m loving the processโ€”and the flowers are slowly starting to bloom beautifully. ๐Ÿ’œ
