Sorry hindi ko pala nainform through my socials na I stopped taking orders since mid-Feb due to personal reasons that greatly affected my baking. We recently changed our cake trays series (both banana cakes and cheesecakes) from small to large loaf pans with additional grams but no price increase! 🤩🤩🤩

Banana loaf cakes: +60 grams
Blueberry/strawberry cheesecake trays +65 grams

It all started with...

Our family and relatives love to cook, and I always watch them while working in the kitchen. I also tend to assist them with whatever they need. Then one day, I saw my older sister started making some stuff in the oven. I was amazed, and it triggered my curiosity. In short, I was influenced by my older sister at the age of 12.

Then high school came. I actively participated in our baking classes under TLE and baked my first ever Hershey’s ‘Perfectly Chocolate’ Chocolate cake (10” round cake) when I was in Sophomore. That’s when I got my first ever feedback from my group mates, classmates, and friends. From there, I continuously baked at home and made some pastries for my friends whenever I have extra time.

In 2011, I started working on my first ever job in a swim school, which was, as usual, I brought them some baked goods whenever I can, and my colleagues suggested to sell my brownies for Christmas, which I did. I was happy for their positive comments and even created this page, which was initially made just for fun. At that time, I never got a chance to pursue it since I started renting a room near my workplace and unable to come home in which all my baking needs and oven were there.

In 2014, I became a mom, and it was not convenient for my baby to stay in an apartment, so I decided to move back home. After two years, I resumed with baking. But it was not until 2015 that I chose 100% that I will do this as an online business. I revived this page last October 2015 and changed it from Sugar Rush to Tasty Confections PH. I made my logo, business card layouts, stickers, etc. I started compiling my recipes as well as did the costing to price my products honestly and competitively. I also started looking for my suppliers for packaging and ingredients.
