PUPie The Ultimate Pineapple Pie Experience. PUPie is the first start-up establishment that offers pineapple pie in Calauan.

Even though Calauan is dubbed to be the “Home of the Sweetest Pineapples”, no delicacies relating to pineapple product exist. This observation is seen as a market opportunity by the eyes of 18 entrepreneurial students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines. The business is equally owned and managed by 18 entrepreneurial management students with competent skills in establishing a business. Th

is project aims to contribute in promotion of fresh and sweet pineapples in Calauan as well as introducing PUPie as its new delicacy. It creates potential income for pineapple farmers. And mostly it will encourage the students to unleashed their entrepreneurial flair and explore the world of entrepreneurs, this applies the idea of “Earn While you Learn Scheme” (EWLS).
