*Design Variations*
Although we make every attempt to provide an exact design and to match colors, custom cakes are a work of art. It may not be possible to match an exact shade of a color, but we will come as close as possible. Also be aware the exposure to light c
an cause colors to change. We do not offer discounts or refunds if the exact shade of a color is not achieved or if a variation occurs due to lighting.
*Care and Handling*
We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after pick-up or after setup is complete. The client is responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table.
*Deposits, Payments, Cancellations*
A deposit of 50% is required to consider this an order and contract for services to be rendered. The remaining balance is due ten (10) days prior to the delivery date. Any changes to this order must be made no later than ten (10) days prior to delivery. All deposits are non-refundable. There will be no credit given for orders cancelled inside of ten (10) days. For cancellations with more than ten (10) daysβ notice, credit may be given for a future order, less the fair market value of items that cannot be re-used. This offer is subject to the date being available. If full payment is not received the due date, the order may be cancelled.
*Photographs*
Yhanaβs Cakes & Pastries reserves the right to take photos of the product for display or promotion without the customer's consent.
*Cancellation/Refund Policy*
If cancellation of the order is required, and you have paid your full balance, the refund policy is as follows:
If the cancellation is up to one (1) month in advance of your event date, you will receive a refund, less your initial deposit and the cost of any supplies already purchased for your cake. If the cancellation is less than seven (7) days prior to your event, there will be absolutely no refunds given. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation. Please note: Any non-refunded balance may be credited toward future purchases
*Delivery Terms*
We offer delivery for certain destinations. Delivery is charged at our discretion
Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages. A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customerβs responsibility to collect the product.
