Famous Cheeseroll
This is our dad, the late Ramon/Monching’s recipe.
When the ube craze started in Cagayan de Oro, we thought of innovating our plain cheeseroll and adding Ube in it. Friends who were able to taste the cheeseroll also suggested that we try it. (Shoutout to Queency! Thanks for the encouragement Kits!)
So one day, our Mom cooked her famous Ube Halaya, I checked the recipe for our cheeseroll and calculated on how much ube should we add to the dough (yes, there is real ube in the dough, and not flavoring), and so with the filling.
Praise God for His guidance, it went well and it came out so delicious!
