Queso de Bola Yema Cake 🧀✨
I had never tasted this before, so I could only imagine how the sweetness and richness of the yema would pair with the salty, savory umami of the Edam cheese. It sounded like a perfect combination. Meron naman nang available sa market, pero ang layo from Bulacan. Since we still had a leftover queso de bola from our New Year's Eve celebration and it's Mochi's (our rescued calico cat) adoption month, I finally decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because it turned out even better than I had imagined, especially since I used premium-quality ingredients.
It has officially become my family's newest favorite. I wouldn't be surprised if this starts becoming their most-requested birthday cake from now on.
