Tuwing sasapit ang ika-30 ng Agosto, ipinagbubunyi ng Pilipinas ang 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞 upang magbalik-tanaw sa mga Pilipinong inalay at isinakripisyo ang kanilang buhay upang makamit ang kalayaang tinatamasa ngayon. Ilan sa mga tanyag na pangalan ay sina Dr. Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Heneral Luna, Gabriela Silang, Melchora Aquino at marami pang iba na humubog sa ating kasaysayan.

Subalit sa modernong panahon, hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng pag-alay ng buhay ang pamantayan upang matawag na bayani ang isang indibidwal. Sa katunayan, maaaring maging bayani ang lahat ng tao. Halimbawa na lamang ang mga magulang na patuloy na naghahanapbuhay upang may maihain sa hapag-kainan, mga doktor na nagbibigay ng lunas sa mga may sakit, mga g**ong kumakalinga sa bawat mag-aaral upang manatiling edukado ang mga kabataan, at maging ang mga tumutulong sa biktima ng kalamidad na kinakaharap ng ating bansa ngayon. Basta’t may pusong handang paglingkuran ang lupang tinubuan, maaari mong tawagin ang sarili mong bayani.

Hindi batayan ang laki o liit ng kontribusyon ng isang tao, sapagkat sa maliit na hakbang nagsisimula ang malaking pagbabago.

Patuloy ang pag-ulan at pagbaha sa iba’t ibang lugar, kaya sana ay manatiling ligtas at tuyo ang bawat isa. Kung hindi kinakailangang lumabas, manatili muna sa ligtas na lugar at mag-ingat sa anumang lagay ng panahon. ☔️

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨: 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲

Sa bawat salitang binibigkas, may kuwentong nakatago. Sa bawat pangungusap na ginagamit sa pakikipag-usap, buhay ang kultura, tradisvon, paniniwala, at kasaysayan ng isang bayan. Para kay Ma'am Rebecca Appelido, isang g**o at College Dean ng Tomas Del Rosario College, ang Buwan ng Wika ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang na ginaganap tuwing Agosto, kundi isang paalala sa bawat Pilipino na ang sariling wika ay bahagi ng kanilang pagkakakilanlan. Tulad ng meansaheng matatagpuan sa tulang "Sa Aking mga Kababata", ipinahayag dito na ang pagmamahal sa sariling wika ay isang pagpapahalagang nananatiling mahalaga hanggang sa kasalukuyan. Ang wika ay isang biyaya at pagpapala na dapat pahalagahan at pagyamanin.

Sa paglipas ng panahon, nagbabago man ang paraan ng pakikipagkomunikasyon, nananatili pa rin ang halagą ng wika. Noon, higit na nakatuon lamang ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa paggamit at pagpapaunlad ng sariling wika. Sa kasalukuyan, bagama't malaki na ang naging impluwensiya ng teknolohiya at social media, hindi dapat mawala ang pagpapahalaga ng mga Pilipino sa wikang Filipino. Sa simpleng paggamit, napapanatili nating buhay ang kulturang sumasalamin sa ating pagkatao bilang Pilipino.

Mula sa tinig ni Dean Rebecca Appelido, isang mensahe ang malinaw, "ang wika ay hindi lamang dapat ipagdiwang kundi dapat itong isapuso, gamitin at buhayin sa araw-araw."
