To our dear customers,
Over the past few years, many of you may have noticed gradual changes in cake prices—not just from us, but from bakeries everywhere. We wanted to share honestly why this has been happening.
When the Russia-Ukraine war began, it greatly affected the global supply of wheat. Ukraine is one of the world’s major wheat exporters, and because flour is made from wheat, flour prices worldwide increased dramatically. For bakeries like ours, this was one of the first major challenges.
Soon after came the global oil crisis. Fuel prices rose, and this affected almost everything involved in baking and running a small business:
• delivery and transportation costs
• electricity rates
• packaging materials
• dairy products
• chocolate and imported ingredients
• sugar and shortening
• even the cost of eggs and basic supplies
Many ingredients we use daily have increased several times over compared to just a few years ago. Some supplies are also harder to source consistently, especially imported baking ingredients.
Despite all these challenges, we continue to do our best to keep our cakes affordable while maintaining the quality, taste, and care that our customers deserve. We never want to compromise the freshness of our products or the ingredients we use for your celebrations.
Every cake we make is handcrafted with love, and behind every order is a small business trying its best to survive difficult economic times while continuing to serve the community.
We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. Every order you place helps support not only our bakery, but also the people and families behind it.
Thank you for growing with us through the years. ❤️
