A Legacy of Courage. A Legacy We Proudly Carry.
At Cafe Keith Baguio every cup we serve carries more than our family name, it carries a legacy of courage, honor, and service.
Today, we proudly pay tribute to our grandfather, Corporal Bernard Raymund Keith, a true Cordilleran from Bokod, Benguet, who faithfully served with the 66th Infantry Regiment, United States Armed Forces in the Philippines – Northern Luzon during World War II.
His unwavering courage, patriotism, and selfless sacrifice in defending our homeland remain a source of inspiration for our family. As descendants of a true Cordilleran hero, we are deeply honored to carry forward the values he lived by resilience, humility, integrity, and service to others.
This Commendation for Bravery, awarded posthumously during the 11th Bokod Liberation Day Celebration, is a testament to a life dedicated to protecting the freedom we enjoy today. It is a reminder that the sacrifices of our heroes should never fade with time but continue to inspire future generations.
As we welcome you to Cafe Keith Baguio, we also invite you to remember the remarkable men and women who shaped our history. We take pride not only in serving our community but also in preserving the legacy of a true Cordilleran warrior whose bravery will forever be part of our family’s story.
To our grandfather, Corporal Bernard Raymund Keith, your courage lives on through us. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Lest we forget. 🇵🇭
With heartfelt gratitude to the Municipality of Bokod, Benguet, for honoring our hero and preserving the legacy of our brave Cordilleran warriors.
