This is FAKE NEWS! We are deeply saddened by this misinformation.
The safety and well-being of our employees, customers and our community is our top priority. Gardenia has been implementing strict precautionary measures, safety and health protocols to protect employees from this deadly virus since the start of the community quarantine.
Employees undergo strict daily health checks, temperature scanning, wearing of face masks, frequent handwashing, sanitizing, and physical distancing, among others. We also conduct regular disinfection of plant facilities, equipment and workstations.
Gardenia breads are produced in a clean, well-sanitized and fully-automated manufacturing facility untouched by hand. While Gardenia is committed to serve the bread needs of the Filipino people, the health and safety of our employees is of paramount importance.
