I used to think work-life balance was about doing less. Now I realize it’s actually about doing more of what makes your heart beat faster. Most days, I’m chasing that perfect golden-brown edge on a batch of cookies for my Manila run. Other days, I’m out at the stables, trading the apron for reins and finding peace in the open air. It’s messy, it’s busy, and it’s exactly where I want to be. If you’re waiting for the “right time” to chase your passion, this is your sign. Build the life you don’t need a vacation from. ✨

Every Manila bake run takes a village 🤍

From the staffs at the airport, to our team back home, to our Manila staff waiting on the other side and to everyone who helps distribute our boxes plus our real heroes on the road, our drivers from Lalamove and Grab.

They carry our boxes like they’re their own, making sure everything gets to you safe and on time. Behind every cookie that arrives at your door is a whole team working quietly, giving their all.

We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re so, so grateful. Thank you for taking care of our little boxes of love. 💛

Did you know we didn’t start as Sucré?

Before all of this, it was just a small dream called Love, Elizabeth just cookies, just us, and a whole lot of hope. We prayed for a little bakery… but God had other plans.

What started with one cookie recipe somehow grew into a restaurant. We didn’t see it coming, but looking back, every step made sense.

Sometimes you ask for something small, and God gives you something bigger than you ever imagined. 🤍

Still the same heart though just baking, trusting, and taking it one batch at a time. Thank you, Lord.

Have you reserved yours already? 🥹

Manila bake run is on April 16, 2026 mostly pre-order (because we bake in small batches), but every now and then we sneak in a few extra boxes for the lucky ones 😉

This another big run for us about 50 kilos (around 110 pounds!) of pastries, all made with so much love and a whole lot of heart (mostly from Mom 🤍). Thank you, Lord, for all of it.

I’ll always need my mom 🤍

She’s the one I run to when something goes wrong in the kitchen… and the one I celebrate with when it goes right. Everything I know, everything we’ve built it all started with her.

So, so blessed I get to do life (and Sucré) with my mom. 💛

Even as an adult, I still need my mom with me running errands, picking out ingredients, and just being there. Somehow, everything feels lighter and happier when she’s around. I’m so lucky to share these moments with her and carry a little of her love into everything we do at Sucré.
