When I thought about THE ARTISAN BAKER, I just really wanted to gain profit even in small ways as given with my current situation brought forth as a consequence of the pandemic. Actually, it is just a small livelihood enterprise online.

But I guess for the past months, as I have been deeply reflecting on the reality of the situation (as Fr. James Martin, SJ would term it in order to come in terms with the 'cura personalis), it has been clear to me that I use this livelihood as a means of initiating a cause especially for those who are in need.

I, too, was a victim of several injustices and unethical work practices that I have witnessed as a worker (or as an artisan). People would care more about the profit rather than the person itself. As such, these experieces helped me in my reflection to initiate this cause to reach out those who are in need.

It's time to cultivate the culture of giving, the sense of gratitude, and to go against the "throwaway culture" not only in temporal things but also of the person.

From every purchase made in each product, a certain portion of the purchased amount will be alloted to be donated to a charitable institution or to initiate charitable causes as the situation and the need shall arise. Updates in my social media accounts will be given for accountability and transparency.

I will be releasing the line up of my products this week. If you are thinking to reach out and help those who are in need, you can start by purchasing the products of THE ARTISAN BAKER.

Good day everyone! I know I was in a hiatus but, hey, here's an update. 😄

I tried baking oatmeal cookies yesterday for my own consumption. And they turned out veeeeery gooood. 😍😍😍😍

I am planning to sell them the following days. But this time, it will not be only for the sake of profit. But for a cause.

I shall make the announcement soon. So stay tuned.

On my test kitchen today is my 😊

I was just using the cheap ube essence brand which I expected would have givem the rich purple violet color that you see. Unfortunately, it just gives the flavor. 😅

Stocks on ingredients are running out of the market so up until I get to have quality ingredients, you may have to taste this soon.

For now, let's enjoy in our kitchen. 😊

Two orders of Cheese Maki are up for today! 😊 Thank you Ms. R for patronizing my products! ☺

I will be offering variants of Creamy Tuna and Maki with Mango (if available) and Avocado in the following days. More variants will also be coming soon.

I will start also to take orders soon for Sharing Size (9" pan, good for 8-10 people) and Party Size (one medium rectangular pan, good for 12-15 people) if the income becomes stable.

For now, I am offering it in a merienda size tub for all to avail it.
