"THE UGLIEST CAKE I EVER MADE"

As a baker/cake artist, it’s inevitable that there will be times when things just don’t go as planned when it feels like everything you do is going wrong. Sometimes yung inaakala mong madali ay dun ka pa mas nahihirapan. And sometimes, there are moments when you yourself ay hindi mo gusto ang kinalabasan ng gawa mo. There's also a time that all of these things happen at the same time.

Para sa akin, making this cake is the perfect example para sa lahat ng nabanggit ko. Dito ko yata naramadaman ang masasabi kong the UGLIEST feeling ng isang baker habang ginagawa ang cake na ito ! From the very beginning of decorating this cake, things were already going wrong, to the point na gusto ko ng tigilan. But ayaw ko namang makasira ng okasyon, na magbibirthday yung celebrant without a cake so I pushed myself to finish it anyway.

As I slowly finished the cake and started seeing the final result, though, I somehow began to feel a little relieved. At least I was finally putting it all together. Matatapos ko narin sya.

But honestly, I’m not completely happy with the result. I could really say, it's not Ugly at all, I know. But I could have made it much prettier, pero naubusan na ako ng oras. . Given more time, I know I could have done a much better job. 😔🫩😭
