By no means a perfect cake. Given the quick timeframes (and fact not much baking has occurred since I was pregnant with my daughter) really happy with it. Butter cake with butter cream icing covered in hundreds & thousands.

It's been a long time since I posted something on this site... too busy having babies.

I have only been doing essential baking lately, but the need for cupcakes at my daughters 3rd Birthday party meant, I had to get a piping bag out. These were very simple (as just had to ice and shove the pick in) but still felt good to bake for a reason other than necessity.

I have been off the grid for a while, but a friend from work made a lovely lemon cake today and it was really yummy. The recipe is attached and super easy if you are after an easy and delicious lemon cake.
