Based in Christchurch, Aureate creates handcrafted cupcakes, unbaked treats, and packaged goods for all occasions – from celebrations to everyday sweet cravings. We're regulars at local night markets, and also take custom orders for events, gifts, or just because. We cater to all dietary requirements – including gluten-free, vegan, and raw – and love a good baking challenge! Almost any flavour, sh

ape, quantity, or dietary requirement can be tackled, just ask. Only free-range eggs are used in each and every batch (unless it’s egg-free of course). Alongside our packaged product range, we also offer custom orders for gluten-free cakes and cupcakes for birthdays, celebrations, and special occasions.

At Aureate, we're all about making sure there's a sweet treat for everyone, whatever your dietary requirements are.

Did you know our entire packaged range is gluten free? 💛 Our Dulce de Leche, Lemon Curd, Mulled Wine Syrup and Salted Caramel Popcorn are all coeliac friendly!

Throughout the week, we'll be showcasing our delicious gluten-free packaged products, along with some of the gluten-free cakes and creations we've made over the years, in celebration of Coeliac Awareness Week.

Big news for our vegan Dulce de Leche lovers‼️

We've recently made a small tweak to our Vegan Dulce de Leche recipe, adding just a touch of coconut cream to create an even smoother texture and richer flavour.

The result? The same delicious dulce de leche you know and love, but creamier, richer, and a better texture from the fridge.

🍊🧡 OMG Orange, but make it mini!

Our OMG Orange mini cupcakes feature delicious orange cake filled with orange curd, topped with orange buttercream and finished with a slice of orange.

These ones are fun to make and we LOVE the colour 🧡

Dulce + banana is one of our favourite flavour pairings for cupcakes 🍌🤎

We start with a spiced sour cream banana cake (no sour cream for the vegan version), then fill it with rich, house-made dulce de leche for that delicious, soft caramel centre.

They’re finished with a swirl of dulce de leche buttercream, a drizzle of butterscotch sauce, and a crisp banana chip on top for the perfect bite. Yum!
