Well the time has come to announce our news! In April myself and my partner are packing up and moving down to Queenstown to start our next chapter! Which sadly means Get Baked with Lyds has officially closed its doors! (For now anyway) 🥺 thank you so so much for all of my amazing customers who have supported my business! Whether that was through liking/commenting on my posts, ordering baking from me, and just cheering me along the way! Will be forever grateful for you all ❤️ this isn’t a forever goodbye but a see you later as I’ll be back! Xx

Crunchy pecan bits mixed through a soft spiced sponge with a yummy vanilla buttercream that has a slight spice to it and is definitely not to sweet! It’s like the perfect harmony in your mouth that will literally leave you wanting more 🤤

I’m so proud of this cupcake I’ve created, it’s going to be my special baby. This cupcake is 100% the best recipe I have ever created!!!! I had great feedback from my stakeholders in terms of the flavour and texture. My mum who is not a cake/sweet person loved them so much she ate two at the same time AND wants to take them to work for everyone to try!

Awhooooooooooooooooo 🐺

Super happy with how this wolf cake turned out! But let me tell you….buttercream in this heat is stresssssful 😂 not even 20 minutes of being out of the fridge and it was already starting to go soft!

The sponge is vanilla with strawberries mixed through, vanilla buttercream and strawberry compote for the filling 🤤

I’m planning on opening back up in March so if your needing baking for then….. then get in touch!

Peach princess 😻

This is the first cake/baking I have done for 2022 (for one of my nieces) and I am so so so happy with how it turned out! Everything came together so smoothly and not one part stressed me out (except for transporting it 🤪😂).

Best part was I got to have a piece of it! And it was yummmmmmmmmmm……vanilla sponge with strawberries mixed through, homemade strawberry compote as the filling and vanilla buttercream to ice 🤤🤤🤤

I’m planning on opening back up in March so if your needing baking for then….. then get in touch!
