Yesterday was cold and rainy, so it was a perfect time to break out New Cookie #3: Vegan Spiced Chocolate Snickerdoodles (which of course I had with hot chocolate).

Delicious. Next time I might try to underbake them a bit to ensure fudgy insides, but honestly: 4.5/5.

New cookie recipe #2! These are two attempts at 's gluten free chocolate butter cookies. I wasn't happy with the first batch - the ones where I tried to grind my own almond flour and didn't get it fine enough - so I made a second batch with commerical almond flour.

Upon eating...I preferred the first version even though they were a PAIN to pipe. The texture is reminiscent of a proper Afghan biscuit, though of course without the cornflakes and icing.

All up: 4/5 cookie, would make again.

One of my goals this year is to bake 10 new cookie recipes. Here's #1, brown butter chocolate chip cookies.

These are tasty, but making the brown butter is a bit too much of a faff for me.

HALF 'N HALF - two PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE and two MUMMY cupcakes in one box.
