$60 box of yummy baking needs to be gone today.
Sadly this is the second order this week that someone has not collected. I had a no show for a cake at the start of the week, I was messaged the day before with the image, on the day of collection I was ghosted and still haven't heard anything, not even a sorry! I ended up gifting the cake to a friend.
I make stuff all off my cakes and baking. I try really hard to keep my prices at a cost that all can afford. I use real ingredients, butter, cream, free range eggs etc which all come at a price. Then there is my time for shopping and the making of my goods, which I put a lot of time, love and effort into. Then there is the cost of power, cake boards, boxes etc. These are the parts people don't see or think of.
No shows don't happen often but when it does it effects my mana. I really don't want to have to start asking for deposits as that is again more paper work for me.
So please, all I ask is that you are mindful of the time and effort put into what I make for you all, if you know you can't afford it, I am happy to take payments, as long as these are all made before pick up date.
