Hello, Wild Friends!

A little update on what to expect at the bakery today

You’ll find Wholemeal, Ancient, The Miner (with activated charcoal), NY-style cookies, and a few little goodies too.

For some reason, my starter was feeling a little sad today, and my Classic loaf didn’t quite turn out the way I wanted. I have to be honest , it’s a new environment, a new temperature, and I’m still getting to know how my dough behaves here.

It’s a little frustrating, of course, but I’m reminding myself that I’m learning, adjusting, and doing all of this one bake at a time mostly on my own, while also juggling family life. 🤎

That’s the beauty (and sometimes the challenge!) of sourdough. Not every loaf is perfect, but we keep going, we learn, and we bake again.

Hopefully round two will be happier!

Enamelware wanted!

Hello! I’m on the hunt for enamelware pieces. 🥰 If you have any you no longer need and would be happy to donate or swap for some yummy homemade goodies, I’d absolutely love to hear from you!

I’ve started collecting these little treasures from second-hand shops, and I just love how pretty, nostalgic, and charming they are. 🤍

So, if you have any enamelware tucked away that needs a new home, send me a message! I’d be very happy to give it a new life.

🚨 LAST-MINUTE NOTICE!

If anyone is interested, I have a few spots left for this Saturday’s Sourdough Class! 🥰

It’s a hands-on, beginner-friendly class where we’ll go from scratch to dough. I’ll guide you through the whole process and everyone will make their own dough, learn how to shape it and bake it.

The class is approximately 3 hours and I’ll also have some yummy breakfast for you to enjoy during the class.

📍 Location: lakeside Presbyterian church
⏳ Duration: Approx. 3 hours

You’ll learn the basics of sourdough in a relaxed and friendly environment — perfect if you’ve always wanted to give sourdough a go but didn’t know where to start!
