Heyah, I have been very quiet on here since yeah, we have been very busy with a new chapter in our life. We have moved back to Vietnam since a few days now. The kids have grown up enough to have an exciting adventure, to have their mind blown 😹to soak in the other half of their heritages and cultures, to learn the language properly, and to see the world.

For the last 7 years, I have loved every single cake or croquembouche that I was trusted with. Nothing beats making something so beautiful and delicious with your own hands. Maybe seeing people’s look of delight as they were devoured right in front of you?

Although cakes are now only for family and friends, pastry and desserts have became such a big part of who I am today. Don’t plan to let this part go :) thank you for your trust and support, this is goodbye but not forever.

Aotearoa, you have been so kind ❤️see you again in a few years ✈️

Joke aside though, it felt special. Moment I started singing the national anthem today, I realised, oh it’s not somebody else’s, not just their anthem anymore. It’s mine too now 🥹 thank you Aotearoa you have been so kind 💕

Nay chính thức làm công dân New Zealand nè mấy má, ko quên mang cờ đỏ sao vàng đi vẫy xong về đi bó vỉa ăn mừng. Đang giữa mùa đông bố nó khích phải kỉ niệm bằng cách nhảy xuống biển bơi, khích nhầm đối tượng mình định chơi luôn nhưng bố nó lại bảo thôi nhỡ hỏng áo dài bác Liên tài trợ, nói thế nào cũng ko cho ra biển, thôi để cuối tuần hihi. Đang hát quốc ca xong cảm thấy ủa, ko phải quốc ca của mỗi “chúng nó” nữa rồi, có tí xúc động các mẹ ạ hihi

Managed to impress staff at The Green Dragon Inn with this one, they never had a croquembouche at Hobbiton before. Glad to pop ‘ cherry 😆

Hope your holiday was an absolute blast—I know mine sure was! We had an awesome, long break to chill, listen to our inner voices, and get pumped for a year of exciting changes.

Here’s our gang at my brother-in-law’s enchanting wedding, set against the stunning sunset at Hobbiton, with Regan doing the groomsmen thing, Dylan rocking the ring bearer role, Aiko as the cutest flower girl, and, of course, yours truly made her personal best croquembouche 👌🏻

Say hello to my new little friend - the mochi-stuffed cookie (browned butter chocolate chip) 🍪👋🏻

How about those layers of different textures? Crispy edges, a chewy body, bouncy mochi, and that light as air dollop of chantilly just to melt things together. If you guys don't buy into it, I won't mind very much because I'm going to eat them all anyway 🤤. Lol, well, not literally, but you know what I'm saying - these hit different 👌🏻

Especially for this weekend's events. Picture this: watching a Christmas movie with 500 other people outside on the grass in a beautiful evening at the Mount while snacking on these bad boys. I dig it.
