Lemon curd danishes are having a particularly good morning today so get on down and treat yourself.
And this isn't one of those classic hospo " ahhh f$& # we made too many of something and need to get rid of them, quick do a sale post" type thing.
They just are good today.
We make these little beauties with all the local citrus that we call in for every winter and I think you can taste the difference from the stuff that comes in a bottle.

It's all out: the sun, the sourdough croissants, the cruffins, the danishes, the pies, the loaves, the pastries. And how good is that warmth? The sun on the skin, a warm pastry in the stomach, ready for anything!!! 😎

Don't waste your day hanging out like a lizard on the verandah, come into town, grab a few bites, check your election enrolment details (in house today) and grab some Golden Bay grown meat for dinner from who are having a small market stall at the bakery today. 👌

Open from 8am until 3pm today, then closed and back open on Wednesday. Don't miss out, weekends are a lot more tasty with Bacca 🙃❤️

The Department of Election is running a pop-up enrolment stall tomorrow (Saturday) at Bacca, rain or shine. Come and check whether your enrolment details are correct, get help to find out if you're enrolled or, for first timers, get enrolled with a little help from the orange people 😊

We're lucky enough to live in a democracy and everyone should use that privilege and cast their vote. You can't complain if you haven't voted, right? 😉❎

WE'VE DOUBLED DOWN ON NATAS THIS WEEKEND!

After selling out every day this week, we've bumped our quantities up for you!
Thin flaky layers of sourdough pastry, vanilla rooibos custard cooked til caramelized and garnished with crunchy spikes of Demerara sugar.

All the other goodies and staples are in their usual places for you to come and fill your pantries with.

ROLL CALL FOR LOVERS AND BAKERS OF ORGANIC GRAINS 🌾

We will be ordering a ton or more of certified organic grain very soon and wanted to give you, as always, the opportunity to throw a few kgs or bags on our pallet to save shipping costs ❤️

Did you know that shipping costs are the biggest single reason that our food supply chain suuuuucks? It's cheaper to import flour from Europe that to ship it from the South to the North Island. Madness. Can we change it? Not sure how. But we want to make a small difference 🫶

Send us your orders via DM on Insta or fb or send an email to [email protected]. Orders will be collected by Bacca and once all costs are known these will be communicated ❤️
