Now that we've had a few weeks to get in to our groove, it's about time we introduce ourselves to you, our wonderful 🤎

We are 🦉 Johnelle & Liam 🦉, the new owLners of Brown Owl Kitchen (BOK for short)

Here's some things you may find interesting about us and our journey taking over BOK:

💫 We're both from Tauranga and moved to Mamaku in 2021 to purchase a lifestyle block. We were set on our current property the moment we saw it and never looked back.

💫 We both have a love of organic food and healthy treats. Johnelle became obsessed with raw chocolate while she was living in Auckland in 2013-2015 and following on from that, started her first business teaching people how to make raw chocolate for themselves 🍫
For Liam, his Mum became raw vegan when he was a teenager and they both enjoyed the learning curve of making treats without the common refined staples. This taught him the value of eating nutrient dense, whole foods and allowed him to get creative, making healthy snacks and treats 😋

💫 Brown Owl Kitchen is a hobbie for us, we both own our own businesses; Johnelle Hosking is a Career and Business Confidence Coach 🙌 and Liam is a freelance photographer Aftermarket Photography 📸

💫 We learned about Brown Owl Organics Inc. while Johnelle was doing a poster drop for a client, and asked if she could put a poster on the noticeboard. That's when she met Janine, who shared the story behind Brown Owl Organics. We've been involved in supporting and working with the amazing team ever since ❤️

💫 We were approached a few months ago seeing if we knew of anyone who may be suitable to takeover BOK. It felt like such a great fit for us, and straight away, our creative minds got to work thinking of what amazingness we could create if we did get to takeover.
Big love and thanks to Chrissy we've been trusted with owning and growing the brand 😍

So there you have it! That's a bit about us and how we got here.
