One of the lads at work asked if I could make his son a farmyard theme birthday cake, the only must have was a green tractor (the birthday boy’s fav).

This one is an 8inch chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream and a wee layer of caramel, all wrapped in a vanilla bean buttercream.

From 1st September, I’ll be taking a little break from my baking creations. With work, an overseas holiday coming up and the busy Christmas season not far behind, life is feeling just a little too busy at the moment — so I think a baking break is very much needed! ✈️🎄

I’ll likely be doing a few bakes for family during my break to keep my skills refreshed so keep an eye out for the odd Facebook post, but I won’t be taking on any other orders. 🍰😊

Thank you so much for all your support, orders and love this year. Hopefully I’ll be back in early 2027, refreshed and ready to go! ✨ 💖

This cake was something a bit different for me, and boy did I underestimate how hard it would be to make a fondant ball 🤣

This is a a rich chocolate cake wrapped in electric blue vanilla buttercream, with a splash of water polo-inspired details for the birthday boy whose only request for the cake was ‘water polo’.

I was given the cutest set of instructions for this cake and the brief was very clear, 3D foil balloons must be on top. So cute!

This cake is a rich chocolate cake filled with caramel and wrapped in a vanilla buttercream adorned with the must have fondant foil balloons.

I got to make my own wedding cake - wooo!
It was a cake of firsts, first time making swiss meringue buttercream (vanilla bean flavoured) and making a two tiered cake. The bottom tier is a chocolate cake filled with dark chocolate ganache and a homemade mixed berry jam, and the top tier is a vanilla cake filled with cinnamon apples and vanilla custard. All finished off with beautiful dried florals.

For Christmas dessert this year I wanted to have a go at lemon meringue but with a slight twist - adding some berries!

Homemade sweet crust pastry, lemon curd, mixed berry compote all topped with swiss meringue! Went down a treat.

Last weekend’s bake was a Where’s Willy–themed chocolate cake filled with dark choc ganache + homemade mixed berry jam, topped with a custom edible image (printed by The Cake Shop) of the birthday legend himself!

This one was for a friend’s son’s 10th birthday! He is such a cool dude and it was a pleasure to make him his favourite anime (One Piece) into a cake.

This one’s a chocolate sponge, filled with chocolate icing and strawberry jam all wrapped in shades of ocean blue vanilla buttercream.
