Congratulations to my beautiful friends, Kati and Tariu, on their marriage in October 2024.

With 160 guests in attendance—including beloved family from New Zealand, Australia, and the Cook Islands—it was a true celebration of multicultural Cook Island Māori whānau coming together as one.

Kati surprised her new husband with a Cook Island dance. It was captivating.

Together, Kati and Tariu, now a blended family with 10 children, are each other’s rocks. Their partnership is built on unconditional love and unwavering support through all of life’s challenges.

I deeply admire these two.

Kati has been one of my best friends since I was thirteen, and we share a special bond as NZ Māori relatives—descendants of the same great-grandfather who once lived on the very land where she was married, and where I had the honour of legalising their union.

It was a privilege to help make more family history on such meaningful land near Christchurch.

Wishing you a lifetime of joy, fulfilment, health and love.

On June 19, 2025, I had the privilege of officiating the wedding of my best friends Ruby and Tom at the Outrigger in Fiji. Even though they were married 8 years ago in a private ceremony, this celebration was their much-anticipated big wedding—with 70 friends and family from New Zealand, Australia, and Japan joining us to mark the occasion.
It was, quite honestly, an impressive wedding. The Outrigger provided so many incredible spaces for us to enjoy. Between the ceremony, reception, and all the little moments in between, we were spoiled for choice on where to gather, relax, and celebrate together.

Being able to officiate such a meaningful event in such a stunning location is an experience that will always sit close to my heart. The setting, the company, and the joy of the day made it so special.

I’m very happy for you Ruby & Tom, wishing you a (continued) healthy and happy marriage!

These two got married under an old Oak tree, on the bride’s family farm. Their daughter, Wren had an important job of delivering the rings to mummy & daddy.

A note from the bride Nina 🤍

“I could not fault my experience. The ceremony flowed seamlessly and she managed to capture our personalities and bring them to life for our guests. There were a lot of laughs (which was what we had asked for) and a lot of beautiful soft moments.”

I love creative writing and honouring couples love stories in a ceremony.

All ceremonies are written based on a questionnaire, I write totally from scratch, and then send to the couple for approval! This is also a super fun way for couples to start building excitement and build their vision that will come to life on the day!

Mr & Mrs Timm!

Pretty special when you get to plan some of your best friends wedding day!

We hired a beautiful private residence in Bob’s Cove for many of the guests to stay at. We had one of my favourite photographers , we flew to the top of Mt Crichton after the ceremony and soaked in the stunning aerial views. The sun was shining and everything went smoothly!

These two held hands, and shared a massive grin as we flew up Lake Wakatipu and into the mountains. It couldn’t get much better!

I’ll never forget it. For years to come I’ll love saying that I was the celebrant there to make it legal for these two. Your faces when you look at each other is heart warming. What an inspiring couple and dearly loved friends of mine.

Mrs & Mrs married up Moonlight track!

The first picture is one of my favourite shots of an elopement to date. 🙌🏼

We were flown to a perfect hill side perch for this intimate elopement. It was an adventure, with panoramic views of rolling hills, as well as stunning angles of the Shotover River and Ben Lomond summit.

These two made it their own, adding a custom ceremonial “Cheers” of port intertwined in their ceremony.

These two were an absolute joy to celebrate with, and I’m so happy for them that they have found each other.

This was my first ever wedding!

I was so nervous..
Nervous to pronounce the couples names correctly, nervous what to wear, nervous they’d like the custom ceremony I wrote, nervous to make sure I took care of all the legalities correctly, nervous to get in front of 25 people, nervous to make the other vendors satisfied or even impressed with my first ever officiant role!

It went so well and there was nothing to be nervous about! Phew 😮‍💨

I won’t forget the feeling I had, just being near the groom as the bride walked up the aisle (and with their little girl!!) 💔😍
Anyways, I was hooked.

I’d been a nurse for 6 years at this point, delt with all sorts of extremely intense and emotional experiences but I certainly felt it this day! Lucky I’d built up my poker face.

Cheers to M & P for having me be the one to make them legal, and the first time I’d legalised a marriage. 🔏📄

Congratulations on your first wedding anniversary Mr & Mrs Hunt!

A year has gone so fast since you and your hilarious (out the gate outrageous) mates came to Queenstown to get married and create epic memories together!

I’ve never laughed so much being a celebrant at a wedding, and watching you all just be your free silly and playful selves. It’s evident your relationship creates positive energy, it was beaming out of the two of you and we all felt it!!

I’m so stoked to have been a part of what you made happen! 🙏🤍

What absolute legends, and you know to always hit me up for a beer or a snowball fight for when you make it back to Queenstown.

Happy 1st Wedding anniversary to Mr & Mrs Eade!

Easy, breasy organising and marrying you two.

The emotion I got to witness was great, the overwhelming love by the lakeside, the overwhelming fear in the helicopter, and the pure joy playing and you two kissing in the snow covered peaks was just a delight!!

Thank you for all gratitude I received from you after and still to this day, it’s left such an impression on me.
